V.  EXCHANGE WITH STUDENTS FROM SPAIN:

The regional government of Castilla-León, in Spain, is
offering grants to High Schools of that region so they
can send students to American schools in exchange
programs. By February 28th the Spanish Schools need to
have established contact with an American School but
the exchange can be done anytime from now until the
end of 2001. It is often difficult to find Spanish
schools that can exchange a group of students with an
American School due to expensive air fares and other
expenses so this may be a good opportunity for you to
organize a student exchange with a school in
Castilla-León.

I am attaching the application form. I can also send
it to you over regular
mail. If you would like more information you can
contact Salvador Caballero,
the coordinator of the program in Spain, you can do so
at:
Salvador.Caballero@cec.jcyl.es

IX.  EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR U.S. STUDENTS IN SPAIN
